Privacy Policy

Last updated: 23 June 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Logiquark Ltd (company number 16613164) of 1 Swan Street, Wilmslow, England, SK9 1HF ("we", "us" or "our") handles personal data when you use Motorcurve. Logiquark Ltd is the data controller for Motorcurve under UK data protection law.

1. Data we process

We may process the following categories of data:

  • Vehicle and valuation inputs you enter, such as vehicle path, mileage, and condition.
  • Valuation records, such as the valuation inputs, generated estimates, confidence level, evidence summaries, cached valuation status, and operational metadata about valuation runs.
  • Technical and anti-abuse data, including IP address, hashed rate-limit client keys, approximate country or region from request headers, request metadata, bot-protection outcomes, rate-limit counters, error codes, and service diagnostics logs.
  • Analytics event data, such as page views and valuation event properties including vehicle path, mileage, condition, cache state, read-only state, and error code where relevant.
  • Communications you send us, such as emails to our contact address.

2. How we use personal data

We use data to:

  • operate and improve Motorcurve, including generating valuations and quality checks;
  • protect the service from abuse, fraud, and excessive automated usage;
  • monitor service performance and reliability;
  • understand aggregate usage and valuation-flow performance;
  • respond to support and legal requests.

3. Lawful bases (UK GDPR)

We process personal data based on our legitimate interests (running and securing the service), performance of a contract (providing requested service features), and legal obligations where applicable.

4. Cookies and analytics

Motorcurve currently uses cookieless analytics (Vercel Web Analytics) for aggregate traffic and event measurement. We do not currently use marketing cookies on the site. Analytics events may include the valuation properties listed above so we can understand whether the valuation flow is working reliably.

5. Anti-abuse and rate limiting

To protect Motorcurve from automated or excessive use, we use bot-protection checks and rate limiting for live valuation requests. This may involve processing IP-derived hashed identifiers, approximate location headers, request outcomes, retry timings, and related diagnostic information.

6. Sharing with providers and processors

We use service providers that help us run Motorcurve. Providers that may process personal data include Vercel (hosting, analytics, and BotID bot protection) and Supabase (database and backend services).

Some vehicle and valuation processing uses third-party data and technology services, but we do not intentionally send them information that directly identifies you, such as your name, email address, or raw IP address.

7. Data retention

We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above, including operating the service, maintaining valuation quality, preventing abuse, resolving disputes, and meeting legal or regulatory obligations. Valuation records are primarily about vehicles and service performance rather than named users. We do not ask users to create accounts or provide names to receive a valuation.

8. International transfers

Some processors may handle data outside the UK. Where applicable, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers required by data protection law.

9. Children

Motorcurve is not aimed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

10. Your rights

Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, erase, restrict, object to, or transfer your personal data. You may also have the right to lodge a complaint with the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO). The ICO website is ico.org.uk.

11. Contact
